This test allows you to find out whether you’ve generated antibodies or not. Identifying antibodies allows the immune response against the virus to be studied.

Pre-eclampsia is a syndrome which can present from 20 weeks of pregnancy, probably due to an alteration in the maternal uteroplacental blood flow. This is one of the main causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Early detection of pre-eclampsia is key for the survival of the mother and the foetus. Pre-eclampsia is a serious complication which occurs in 3-5% of pregnancies. Sometimes pre-eclampsia does not cause symptoms, high blood pressure can appear suddenly or slowly. Women with chronic hypertension and existing conditions before pregnancy require special medical supervision and follow-up.

Cellular immunity and its persistence are important in the defence against COVID-19. Whilst antibodies tend to disappear months after infection, cellular immunity may persist and protect for years.

BBsafe allows the presence of genomic sequences from the foetus and present in maternal blood to be studied and thus the level of risk for the corresponding syndrome to be determined. BBsafe tests are carried out by the Analiza Group laboratory in Spain.
STANDARD BBSAFE
Trisomy 21 (Down’s Syndrome) Trisomy 18 (Edwards’ Syndrome) Trisomy 13 (Patau’s Syndrome) Sex chromosome aneuploidies (Turner syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, XYY syndrome ...). Foetal sexing (for patients who choose this).

BBSAFE ADVANCE
Trisomy 21 (Down’s Syndrome) Trisomy 18 (Edwards’ Syndrome) Trisomy 13 (Patau’s Syndrome) Sex chromosome aneuploidies (Turner syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, XYY syndrome ...). Foetal sexing (for patients who choose this); the 7 most common microdeletion Syndromes. In addition, all chromosomes are analysed, providing the most information possible to date from non-invasive prenatal tests.
